Make identity easy to see
Use a neutral camera angle with the face unobstructed. Dark sunglasses, heavy beauty filters, motion blur and tiny faces remove information. If the subject is backlit, choose another photo with softer light. More megapixels cannot restore facial detail that is not present.
Keep useful body and clothing detail
A knees-up or full-body image provides context for proportions, hair and clothing. Avoid cutting through the face or hands. Leave some space around the body. An image of a face alone forces a live model to invent the rest of the outfit; that capability is not demonstrated by the local preview.
Resolve upload problems before trying again
HEIC, SVG, GIF and disguised files are not accepted. Export a genuine JPEG, PNG or WebP. Reduce files larger than 10 MB, and resize images over 4096 pixels per side. Server-side probing checks the file itself, not only its extension. Do not repeatedly retry the same invalid file.
Check both roles and permissions
Use the left and right previews to confirm you have the intended people. Swap reverses the order without changing the original files. Only submit images of adults who agreed to this use, and only if you have rights to the photos. A public social-media photo is not evidence of permission.
